Straits Divers is the only active BSAC club in Singapore, founded on a shared passion for diving and a belief that high-quality SCUBA training should be accessible, flexible, and community-driven.
At the very end of 2021, our founders—two dive partners with full-time careers outside diving—met with a vision: to create a club that welcomes people from all walks of life to experience the underwater world. By May 2023, we launched our first ever training day, and have been steadily growing ever since.

What sets Straits Divers apart is our mission to make diving a lifelong passion. For just $40/month, our subscription model gives you access to progressive training—leisure to technical, wreck, and cave—at your own pace. Backed by BSAC, we keep costs low while maintaining world-class standards.
For us, diving is more than a skill—it’s a way to unwind, escape the noise of everyday life, and find community underwater. While running this club feels like a full-time job, it's worth every moment to see how our collective efforts have built something greater than ourselves—something that brings people together and inspires new adventures.

With real-world experience both in and out of the water, we've designed the training approach to be modular, self-paced, and highly accessible — making it easier for busy individuals to dive deeper into their passion, one step at a time. Our goal? To make advanced diving skills and exploration sustainable, practical, and more achievable for people like them — professionals who live for the weekends in the ocean."
