Mastering Buoyancy and Trim
Diving students practicing buoyancy and trim control during underwater training

Today’s session focused on buoyancy and trim — two essential skills every diver must master. These determine how efficiently a diver moves, how much air they consume, and how well they can protect the environment around them. Students usually need several dives to gain consistent control, as breathing patterns, weight placement, and equipment setup all affect performance. Under Greg’s guidance, the group practiced fine-tuning their balance and posture in the water, working on small but critical adjustments that build the foundation for confident diving.
